Introduction
This Module presents the activities and outcomes of the BEYOND project. It focuses in particular on Gender competences framework for education personnel in early years’ and primary education setting and Capacity Building Strategy proposed in the framework of the project. The Gender Competences Framework details the key principles and elements of competences and professional performance of early years’ and primary school teachers and other education personnel necessary to support the overcoming of gender bias and stereotypes to ensure the full and unique development of each and every child, while the Capacity Building Strategy proposes a set of recommendations on creating the necessary conditions to build the capacity of education personnel in early years and primary education settings to implement the gender competences proposed in the Framework.
