Objective
The main objective of the Practice is to support children in enhancing their knowledge of the environmental issue and to adopt pro-environmental behaviours as well as to emphasise that both boys and girls have a pivotal role in combating climate change.
Short description of the activities
The Practice has been carried out by implementing outdoor activities aimed at raising children’s awareness of the environmental issue. Children took part in excursions during which they were able to develop personal attitudes towards nature, by growing plants and interacting with different types of natural materials. Both female and male educators have run the activities with the children, stressing the commitment of all to promote educational experience in nature and the respect for the environment without any distinction in terms of gender.
