Objective
The main objective of the Practice is to foster the development of children’s creative potential in the field of art by adopting the principle of gender equality.
Short description of the activities
Arts are an important vehicle whereby gender stereotypes can be disrupted. Through the carrying out of joint performances, children have the opportunity to freely express themselves before an audience. In this way, the Practice attempts to deconstruct gender-stereotyped role models by organizing various gender-neutral activities fostering children’s creativeness in the field of music and fine arts and by encouraging their real desire to perform any kind of musical role.
The Practice has contributed to
- Improve access to quality ECEC services and in an inclusive way
- Enhance the development of curricula based on pedagogical goals, values and approaches that enable children to reach their full potential in a holistic way.
