Objective
| To reveal the conscious/unconscious gender bias and the stereotypes that are related to the role of a man and a woman in the family and in society in general, that affect their everyday life (consciously and unconsciously). |
Short description of the activities
| The participants were provided with some sentences representing stereotypical statements regarding the roles, the capabilities and responsibilities of men and women in the family, in professional life and in society, as well as the opposite point of view that promotes Gender Equality towards the elimination of stereotypes. The participants were asked to choose the right sentence based on their personal point of view. A discussion followed between the participants with the facilitation of the coordinator. |
The Practice has contributed to
- make participants realize the unconscious bias and the stereotypes that negatively affect them
- promote respect for each other and equality for men and women in all aspects of life (family, professional, social).
