Objective

To show that jobs and roles are not pertinent to only one gender

Short description of the activities

Select and show pictures that go against stereotypes, such as a man doing housekeeping work, or a woman driving a lorry.
 
Alternatively, look for the first person/ pioneer of the past, who underwent a profession that was considered unsuited to their native gender at the time (for example the first pilot woman, the first man aesthetician, etc.).
 
In both cases, a group reflection is guided carefully, so as to not reinforce stereotypes themselves.

  • Show children that they can choose freely their look and their career/ growth path
