Short description of the activities
The Practice has been carried out by organizing educational activities outside the kindergarten and focusing on acquiring and developing cooking skills, for example by learning how to knead the dough. By experimenting with food preparation activities, children are encouraged to understand that it is important to avoid gender biases also in the domestic environment, since there are no household chores specifically addressed to women or men. Moreover, children get acquainted with the breeding of animals, as well as gained knowledge by observing and experimenting with activities related to the daily life of farmers and stockbreeders and the work of archaeologists.
