Lab in IT

The 2 editions of the Tell Us Your Practice Labs in Italy in September 2021 has been a successful experience for all the educators involved. Participating teachers and educators have valued the opportunity of exchanging ideas and practices around the issue of gender equality on which often they have felt not prepared enough to act upon, due to lack of regular funding for ad-hoc projects and continuous training.

In particular, training opportunities should focus on communication skills to interact with families on sensitive topics as the one tackled by the BEYOND project, on discriminatory implications of the Italian language and on emotional skills for teachers and for children.

Partners have cooperated with IRASE for the organization of the Lab in Rome and with University of Perugia – Faculty of Education for the one held in Perugia.
