“Public Women’s Parliament – 21st Century” at CITUB, chaired by Ph.D.. Yanka Takeva, a chairwoman of of the Commission for Equality, Family, Women and Children at CITUB as well, was awarded the Distinctive Badge of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Bulgaria for significant achievements in the effective implementation of equality policy for women and men in the category “Public organizations and institutions “. On April 23, 2019, in the ceremonial hall of the MLSP, the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Assoc. Prof. Biser Petkov, presented to Ph.D. Yanka Takeva the highest state award for significant achievements in the field of equality between women and men. The badge of MLSP is awarded for the second time after its establishment. It is a moral reward, a symbol of prestige and an incentive for institutions and organizations to improve their governance in accordance with the achievement of equality for all. The sign is in the form of a plaque and a logo with the year of receipt, which the distinguished institutions and organizations can use in promoting their activities. The main goal of the award is to encourage the efforts of more institutions and organizations for more effective policies aimed at achieving equality between women and men in Bulgaria.
